What are the requirements to receive the sacrament of Confirmation?

Our hope is that students are continually involved and engaged in faith formation, youth ministry and the life of their parish. However, pursuant to the diocesan policy for Confirmation, students must have, at a minimum, two years immediately prior to beginning confirmation formation in a formal parish faith formation, comprehensive youth ministry or Catholic school education. At St. John Neumann Church, since our formation begins in the spring of the 10th grade year, students have to be active in the program from their second semester eighth grade year until Confirmation begins in the spring of their 10th grade year. For more information, please visit our webpage on Confirmation for more information.
