Do you have questions about what is being done about the sex abuse crisis? Are you upset and feel like no one is listening or is concerned? Would you like to voice your concerns and be heard?

Tuesday, March 12 from 7:00-8:30PM
St. Timothy Room

SJN is holding an Open Forum for parishioners to discuss the sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church and to look at a number of practical actions for the following areas of concern: transparency and accountability, Church structure, the role of the laity, and prayer.  We are engaging in a series of listening sessions organized as an initial step in response to the anguish and lack of trust felt by many Catholics.  Our intention is to lead a process that brings us from the listening phase to action planning in a manner that ensures all voices are heard and that is drawn from the principles of Ignatian Spirituality and Catholic social teaching.

We will begin the forum with brief introductions, followed by scripture and prayer, then cover any updates before we open for questions and responses.
If you would like to attend the Forum, please RSVP at:

St. John Neumann Catholic Church and the Diocese of Austin encourage anyone who suspects abuse by clergy, or by any employee or volunteer of SJN, to contact local civil authorities and the Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Site Administrator for either the parish or the Diocese, as appropriate.
