Family VBS – In God We Trust

Join us this summer for a family weekend of faith and fun! “In God We Trust” is a vacation bible school experience for the whole family and teaches families to gain an understanding of trust in God through bible stories and learning about Saints who exemplify trust in God. This series highlights Canonized Saints of the USA!

We will meet on Friday night and Saturday and conclude our family VBS by firing up the grill for a cookout, a visit from Kona Ice, face painting, balloons and more! We can’t wait to meet all the families for this inaugural year of family VBS!

The Catholic Church recognizes that parents are the primary educators of the faith.  Attending a family VBS allows parents, instead of volunteers, to engage and lead their children through activities. Children whose parents take an active role in their formation are more likely to remain Catholic than children whose parents are not active in the Church.

The Second Vatican Council reaffirms, “Since parents have given children their life, they are bound by the most serious obligation to educate their offspring and therefore must be recognized as the primary and principle educators.”
