Check out all of the Christian Service Opportunities listed below!
Some CSOs are officially sponsored by our parish and/or the Catholic Youth Community.
Other CSOs listed are available in the community at large for you to explore and offer your help. If you're interested in one of those, you are responsible to contact the organization and set up your service with them.
On Fridays of Lent, we will visit our parish's seniors living in assisted living homes and pray the Stations of the Cross with them!
We need parents to help drive and be with our teens as they interact with our parish's seniors. Sign-up to participate by clicking the sign-up button on our Flocknote emails sent home each week! Both MSM and HSM teens are welcome to join us!
Do you like to paint with oil paints or watercolor? Draw with color or black pencils, or even ink? Go sign up on our website and claim a Station, then create your image using any medium you want! We will provide the canvases to use! Pick up your canvas at our events or stop by the Parish Office!
We will bring the completed works of art with us to the assisted living homes and use them as a visual aid while we pray the Stations of the Cross! Your creative efforts will add so much to our prayer experience!
After Lent, we will display them in a hallway of the Parish Center!
We need YOU to join us on the first and third Saturdays of each month for our Mobile Loaves and Fishes service opportunity! Please note that there are two different MLF truck runs - one is for Middle Schoolers, and one is for High Schoolers.
The High School MLF Truck Run is on the 1st Saturday of the month. We meet in the Commissary at 11:30 AM and we will finish around 3:30 pm.
The Middle School MLF Truck Run is on the 3rd Saturday of the month. We meet in the Commissary at 2:30 PM and we will finish around 6:30 pm.
At each event, our group will make the sandwiches, prepare the truck and then help distribute the food we made to people that live at hotels and at encampments on our route. The Sign-up will be posted on the Flocknote email the week of the Truck Run!!
Community First! Village is a 51-acre master-planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the disabled, and chronically homeless in Central Texas.
When we serve at the Community First! Village, we will help with gardening, painting, cleaning, organizing shelves, and lugging stuff here and there - you name it! Just be ready to work!
We will go one Saturday a month starting in March! You can sign up on the weekly Flocknote email!
