Families have two format options when registering a child for K - 5th Faith Formation.
Option 1 - Home Based Learning
Families teach their children at home from September thru May on their own schedule. Families have the option to either watch the online recorded lessons by a catechist with their child or have their child use only the paper activity pages while the adult uses the online home guide. With either option the activity pages need to be completed. (Kinder curriculum does not have an online option.) Parents attend Adult Formation sessions offered by SJN on campus or online.
Option 2 - Peer Group Learning
Children attend sessions on campus from September thru May. Families may choose either Sunday morning sessions from 10:15 to 11:15 or Wedneday afternoon sessions from 3:45 - 5:00.
The Kindergarten curriculum is Stories of God’s Love from RCL Benziger, a Scripture-based source for learning about God.
1st thru 5th curriculum is Discover, Finding Faith in Life from St. Mary’s Press. The text is the Children’s Bible from St. Mary’s Press.
