We pray for the repose of the soul of Father Adrian Chishimba, a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Austin, who died on July 15th in Georgetown, Texas, at the age of 49. He was born on August 15, 1973, in Chilubula Mission, in the Kasama District, Zambia.

Please know all of the needs for the funeral are being met by the Diocese, thank you for your continued prayers. We are seeking volunteers for the reception after the funeral Mass. If you wish to volunteer to help greet, serve, and clean up, please email Michelle Fontana at [email protected].

Below are the funeral arrangements for Fr. Adrian Chishimba:

– Visitation: Monday, July 24th, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. John Neumann.

– Vigil with Prayer of the Rosary: Monday, July 24th, 2023, 7:00 PM at St. John Neumann.

– Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. John Neumann.

– Rite of Committal and burial will take place at a later time in Zambia with Fr. Adrian’s family.
