Tuesday, June 14—Dr. Carl Trueman -Modern Selves, Virtue, and Virtue Signaling - 7PM, St. Timothy Room (new location)
Dr. Carl Trueman will explore how our understanding of ourselves has transformed how we think of institutions, virtues, and the purpose of life. This provocative discussion will cover the psychologizing of the self, the role of technology, the changing purpose of institutions, and the death of privacy. Dr. Trueman is a professor at Grove City College, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center (eppc.org), and a contributing editor at First Things. His latest bestseller is The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self.
Thank you for being so interested in supporting this vital ministry. We are delighted to bring speakers to St. John Neumann to speak on these essential topics from a Christian perspective.
