As we all transition to a life far closer to our pre-pandemic patterns, St. John Neumann will bring back our pre-COVID Sunday morning Mass schedule. Starting July 3rd, we will move the 11:00AM Mass back to its previous starting time of 11:30AM. The weekend Mass schedule will be 5:00PM Saturday Vigil Mass and 7:30AM, 9:00AM, 11:30AM, and 5:00PM Sunday Masses. This change returns us to familiar Mass times and allows us to offer Faith Formation classes this Fall on Sunday mornings between the 9:00AM and 11:30AM Mass.
Pastoral Message from Bishop Vásquez to the people of God of the Diocese of Austin regarding Uvalde School Shooting: I ask the people of the Diocese of Austin to join me in prayer as we mourn the loss of life in today’s school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. I am deeply saddened by this tragic event that took the lives of so many innocent children and their teacher. My prayers go out to all the victims, their families, friends, and the entire Uvalde community. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Sorrows, may God’s infinite love and mercy grant strength to those who mourn, healing and consolation to the wounded, and peace to all who grieve.
