Choir Takes Summer Break

The SJN Choir is wrapping up their season on June 19th with the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. The choir is made up of talented and dedicated musicians that lead our community in worship every week. As the new Director of Music, the choir has welcomed me and have made my first 4 months here a wonderful experience. I am blessed to work with such a fine group of people!
On June 22nd I leave for Milwaukee to continue my Master’s program in music and liturgy, returning to the parish August 1st. It’s an intense 5-week summer term...one more summer to go!
I hope you all have a great summer and ask that you consider joining the choir or any of our many other ministries this fall. The choir will resume their season following the Labor Day Holiday and I look forward to another year of beautiful music making! Parents, be on the lookout for Children’s Choir signups this August.
