Defending the dignity of all human life:
October is Respect Life Month
The first Sunday of October is observed as Respect Life Sunday.
As Catholics, we are called to cherish, defend, and protect those who are most vulnerable, from conception to its natural end. During October, the Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, a time in which we’re invited to reflect more deeply on the dignity of every human life.
This work has never been more important than now. Life is being threatened in our country from the moment of conception to natural death and at many points in between.
In addition, we support and encourage parishioners and those in need to visit: 'Walking with Moms in Need'. It is a process through which Catholic parishes and communities "walk in the shoes" of local pregnant and parenting women in need.
