Grow in your faith as you help our parish children grow in theirs!
If you are inspired to help pass on the treasures of our Catholic faith to the next generation, then we have a place for you! Adults of all ages are encouraged to volunteer, even if you do not have a child in the program.
Read about the various volunteer opportunities below. Weekly adult volunteers receive one child's Faith Formation tuition free. Childcare for children 1 - 4 is offered for weekly adult volunteers as well.
Faith Formation Catechist: Leads the weekly Bible lessons with the children. Two adults gather with a age level peer group of 8 - 12 children. You may volunteer as a lead catechist, a co-catechist, or as the second adult with the group. Children's Faith Formation times are Sundays from 10:15 - 11:15AM or Wednesdays from 3:45-5:00PM. Faith Formation Catechist Aide: Helps the catechist with the lessons and activities. Adults and Teens needed. Teens, if you like interacting with children, we encourage you to volunteer as an aide with one of the K - 5th grade groups.
Faith Formation Hospitality Team: Help Beverly prepare the space where the children and catechists meet each week, greet the parents and children, help clean up the space when the sessions end, and say good-bye to the parents and children.
Sacrament Prep Team: Come witness the love and joy! Sign up to help with the two First Reconciliation and two First Eucharist Preparation Retreats and Celebrations. Help with the set up prior to the retreat, greet the parents and children, help with supplies and directions during the retreat and help with clean up after the retreat.
The Parent/Child retreats are scheduled on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00pm on our campus. The 2023-24 dates are First Reconciliation - October 29 and November 6 and First Eucharist - January 21 and 28.

vacation bible school core team
- Environment Coordinator: Creative person to design and decorate the large gathering area.
- Bible Story Station Leader: Person to coordinate the story station volunteers and help the actors rehearse their roles.
- Crafts Station Leader: Detailed person to plan, prepare, and lead the arts and crafts projects.
- Games Station Leader: Energetic person to organize and lead the outdoor activities.
- Catholic Station Leader: Person to share our Catholic faith in engaging ways.
- Snacks Station Leader: Hospitable and detailed person to coordinate the purchasing, preparing, and serving of snacks to large groups.
- Volunteer Coordinator: Person to assign and supervise crew leader volunteers and subs.
- Newsletter: Person to design and create a daily newsletter to keep families informed of the program activities.
